Privacy Policy

Everything in this privacy policy document is subject to our Trading Terms, Conditions and Privacy Policy. Where a conflict exists between these documents the trading terms and conditions and/or privacy policy takes precendent.

Definitions

 MPE Technologies – MPE Technologies is the dealer in which you are purchasing from (MPE Technologies PTY LTD Trading As MPE Technologies ABN 99 638 803 988)

Customer – This is the person or company in which is purchasing a product or service from MPE Technologies

 

Privacy

10.1…. The Customer agrees that MPE Technologies may obtain information about the Customer from any person, including any credit assessment or debt collection agency, for any purpose being in the course of MPE Technologies business, including credit assessment and debt collecting. The Customer consents to any person providing MPE Technologies with such information. 

10.2….The Customer agrees that MPE Technologies may use, for lawful purposes, any information it has about the Customer relating to the Customer’s creditworthiness. 

10.3…. The Customer understands that: 

a) MPE Technologies is asking the Customer for personal information about the Customer for the purpose of:

i. obtaining a credit report on the Customer to help assess the Customer’s creditworthiness for the purpose of MPE Technologies opening or reviewing a trading account for the Customer, and.
ii. registering the security interest created by clause 6.1 under the PPSA;
iii. Provide services to the Customer

b) MPE Technologies will give the Customer’s personal information to:

i. a credit checking bureau of The Company’s choice and that bureau will hold that information on their system and use it to provide their credit reporting service, and
ii. the Registrar of Personal Property Securities and the Registrar will hold that information on the PPSR which will be available for searching by the public in accordance with the PPSA;
iii. comply with legal compulsion such a Court order 

c) The credit reporting bureau will provide MPE Technologies with information about the Customer for the purposes outlined in clause 9.3(a)(i), and when other customers of the credit checking bureau use the credit reporting service the credit checking bureau may give the information to those customers too. 
d) The Company may use the credit checking bureau’s credit reporting services in the future for purposes related to the provision of credit to the Customer (including personal credit checks against the Customer), and this may include the use of monitoring services to receive updates if any of the information held about the Customer changes. 
e) If the Customer defaults in the Customer’s payment obligations to MPE Technologies information about that default may be given to the credit reporting bureau and may be provided to other users of that service other than the Customer. 
f) The Customer has a right of access to, and may request correction of, personal information held by MPE Technologies or a third party about the Customer. For those purposes, the Customer understands that he or she may contact MPE Technologies at the address set out in the application for credit account to which these terms of trade relate, for information.

10.4…. MPE Technologies uses a customer subscribed email list. This email list will be used to communicate product information, notices, newsletters and promotional sales. Customers may wish to unsubscibe their email adress. Cusomters can do this through MPE Technologies website (www.store.mpetechnologies.com.au) or by clicking the ubsubscribe button in the email.

10.5…. MPE Technologies will retain some Customer’s details for a minimum of 5 years to comply with laws

Cookies

1. MPE Technologies uses Cookies. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
2. MPE Technologies uses 3rd party vendor re-marketing tracking cookies, including the Google Adwords tracking cookie. This means we will continue to show ads to you across the internet, specifically on the Google Content Network (GCN). MPE Technologies respects your privacy and are not collecting any identifiable information through the use of Google’s or any other 3rd party remarketing system. The third-party vendors, including Google, whose services we use – will place cookies on web browsers in order to serve ads based on past visits to our website. – Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website. 

Amendment

MPE Technologies private policy may update from time to time as MPE Technologies is constantly enhancing its products and service. A copy of the latest revision of our private policy will be available upon request
